Sneak Peak

Next week marks the end of my classes of 2016. This past year has been awesome and I have seen my business grow. My classes now have regular attendees and every month is a blast. I cannot wait for what the new year holds.

My last class we'll be making 3 beautiful fun cards, and learning how to make a triple stamping layer card and do some embossing.

(Stay tuned to this post for the measurements of my cards...)

Happy Crafting!

November's Hostess code

Have you ever used the monthly hostess code when ordering online?
It is really easy and convenient.  You have to order via my online shop, which is at the top of this blog, just click shop

If you are visiting my shop for the first time you will need to register.

Every time you visit my shop and order £20+ please add the monthly hostess code when prompted.  If you spend £150+ then please DO NOT use the hostess code as you will get the associated hostess rewards as part of your own order and be able to choose your own items for free.  When you use the hostess code, I will post out a thank you gift mid way through the following month as a thank you for shopping with me!   I am also very happy to place on order for you over the phone or via email so don’t hesitate to contact me.

Slidder cards

Sliders!

While away at my training event one of my lovely team members, Frances Trainor taught us how to make a very easy slider card using a simply piece of a plastic bag!

Here's my version of the card.

I wish I had taken photos of all the bits before I assembled it, so when I make my next one I'll be sure to show you how it came together

I hope to make a few more and will update this post when I do.

Birthday Balloons and shimmer watercolour

Birthday Balloons

I love this card, it was very simple to make but all the elements make it full of character.

Firstly its made using 'Shimmery White' card stock (#121717), I've had a pack of this card stock for ages now but no idea what to do with it. Its so pretty and I've been a bit baffled by its intended use for watercolouring. But look! Its stunning! Add some water and colour and the shimmer pops - plus for some added bling you can use the 'Wink of Stella' pen (#141897)

I used some 'Silver Metallic Thread' (#138402) for the balloons string which adds a bit of texture.
The balloons were stamped using 'Balloon Builders' (#140645) and punched them with the coordinating punch 'Balloon Bouquet' (#140609)

I used a scrap bit of card to create a space for a sentiment by running an 'aqua painter' (#103954) over it in the matching ink
(unfortunately im not so good at getting the scrap paper straight, whoops!)

To order any of the supplies to make this card you can shop my site any time of the day

On my weekend away with my team we made 3 stunning cards, designed by my team leader Michelle Last

I haven't yet bought this set, but it is number one on my list once I earn enough to get it!

(Class attenders- this is on our list of class projects! Probably Octobers class!)

My 3 stunning cards!

I stained this jar using the new Sponge Brayers that SU are now selling

Weekend away with my Pinkies

Weekend away

Before leaving on holiday to Canada I got the great chance to spend a whole weekend with all my great team members (The Pinkies) crafting and creating.

This was my swap for the weekend:

Supplies Used:
*Homemade texture paste dyed with In colour ink refill

* Wink of Stella

* Inks
- Crumb Cake
- Dapper Denim
- Early Espresso
- Memento Black
- Sweet Sugarplum

*Stamps:
- Fairy Celebration
- Timeless Textures

* Card Stock:
- Whisper White
- Early Espresso

Non SU:

- The Crafters Workshop: Specimen stencil

I made up some homemade texture paste and died it with the in colour ink refills then applied it through the stencil to get the raised butterfly images.

Im really hoping to step up my technology skills soon and hope to make a video of how I made this card

I made so many amazing projects which I will share with you over the next few weeks, but for now I wanted to share this great chipboard home decor project I made.
(I think mainly because I'm completely obsessed with anything chipboard!)

I loved this project.
To make the background I used punched images from a thick card stock and glued them to a piece of chipboard. I then painted it with a light blue and dusted it in white.

I then attached an embossed vellum sheet, sheet of DSP and stamped and decorated the top white card.
This project is fantastic as you can hang it on a wall or mantle and change the front card with each season of life, or even a photo

With my monster supply of chipboard I plan to make a few more!

If you would like this kit with all the supplies to make this project,
(Minus the sentiment- unless you'd like it pre-stamped)
then click here to order it for only £5
(Including P&P)

Here's what we made:

All About the Boys

With Father's Day coming up, I thought it would be a good time to make some manly cards.
I got my inspiration and ideas from Pintrest (my favourite pass time activity)

My class is coming up on Tuesday in Didcot and I thought we would make 3 cards with men in mind.

On the first card I've used the Woodgrain embossing folder for extra dimension and texture

With the second card I've used the Crazy About You stamp set. This set is brilliant for interchangeable sentiments!
So for those who 'Father's Day' doesnt apply, you can change it up with several different options.

Here are my most of my supplies used:

I'm Back!

Hi everyone

Ive decided to re-open my blog! Ive missed posting things I've made and I've missed stalking the stats of how many people look at my blog!

Time has flown by.

I now have 2 beautiful children who make me laugh and smile everyday (as well as run me off my feet!)

Rosalie is now just over 2.5 years old.

Elias just turned 1 this week.

Here's one of all of us.

Right to kick off my blog, here are a whole bunch of my recent makes for my card classes. Most of which i have CASED from various google searches. Please comment if you would like any further details on any of my makes!

Thats all for now. Back again soon!
